Anyone have a method for cleaning the airfilters like the Injen?

Besides water? What kind of oil should I put in the element after cleaning? (it ships dry!)

Or anyone got a good source for replacement filters? Injen wants $48+$10! Ouch!

 

I use the K&N filter cleaner kit. Used it on this car and my last car with an Injen filter. Works perfect.

 

Yeah, K&N filter cleaning kit. You can get it at Checker, Autozone, Nappa, or something similar. It's only like $18 or so.

Does anyone know if the JWT Popcharger cleaning kit will work for the Injen filter?

 

thanks for the input guys. I'll try to find a kit local... what a circus that will be Sucks.. the best 'auto parts' store around here is freakin WalMart. The Autozone is the biggest joke.

 

I can sell you mine. It is slighly used. I cleaned it and reoiled with K&N red oil. So it is not blue.
