judging exhaust's by sound clips online is a joke...

especially with the little condenser mic's in camera's and sound blaster audio i/o's... you cant use a worse sound reproductive d/a converter for an exhaust... exhausts have such a wide aray of frequency harmonics that are produced with the compression of the condenser in the camera's with the mpg or mp3 compression you might as well be listning to your friend over the phone on an international call making a vrooom sound... ok ok well its not that bad but its pretty bad especially to those with any type of audio engineering skillz :-/

Injen doesn't sound like a fart can Civic.
Its loud but deep. If it wasn't for my limit on budget for the cat back exhaust, I would have gotten the Injen over the Borla.

The down side of the Injen is that it looks aftermarket and sounds aftermarket and it may attract cops to you.

The down side of the Borla is that it has a crap load of pieces and if you put it on yourself, like I did, you will be in pain for a few days afterward.

Stillen SS, now with Kinetix test pipes w/resonators. Deeper than OEM, not raspy at all, and no drone at freeway speeds.

For those that required perfection get the APS Dual, designed for 600hp. Sounds deep just like a 996 Porsche awesome.

From the land of APS.

Not necessarily better in terms of HP gains. It is heavier than most, being made of stainless steel. The tone of the exhaust without the test pipes is quieter than OEM...with the resonated Kinetix test pipes the tone has deeped and is more aggressive without being annoying.

My tuner has one of the HKS CF/Ti cans in his office. He's using it as a plant holder. They've got a 115mm Ti tip and the CF is a sleeve, over a stainless can.

Here's a thread with pics of one on a Z.
