Default Powdercoating Kintetix plenum

Is this a good idea? If the plenum flexes with stress because its plastic, would the powedcoat crack?

I don't believe you can powder coat plastic. Powdercoating works by using an electrostatic charge to adhere the powder to the [metal] surface.
