Default Injen Black CAI installed

Just installed this on my fathers black roadster and it looks very clean! The filter sits in the front with clear view of the road (kinda like a ram air, almost).

For anyone else that is using this intake the problem that I came across was on the heatshield. It was actually laying against the a/c piping and I was worried about that rubbing over time and cutting into it so I had to cut the shield a bit. Here is a pic of that: http://www.wrxturbo.com/Product%20Pi...heatshield.JPG

For those that have this intake installed with the heatshield then you should check to see if the sharp edges have cut into the a/c pipe.

I've got some good pics here of the intake and install:

Looks like a good quality kit as far as CAI's go. I went with the short ram JWT style, but that Injen does look nice in there.

I just wish they would have used hard pipes for that second piece and I might have gotten it. I love my Nismo with all hard pipes.
