Nismo Exhaust Gets Quieter After A Few Miles
I notice that my Nismo exhaust is much quieter now than when I first got it last week. Anybody else notices this?
It is also possible that I am just getting used to that great rumbling sound. In any event, it still provides a killer behind view

i don't see how an exhaust can get quieter over time...that just doesn't make sense to me...i've had mine on now for a couple hundred miles and it seems a bit louder now than before.
like DavesZ said, i think you just get use to it after a while. When i had my exhaust installed, it seemed really loud in and out of the cabin compared to stock. Now i don't really notice it as much.

The sound of any exhaust will get *slightly* less harsh after several hundred miles due to the layer of carbon deposits along the length of the exhaust.
