Need info on Titanium Exhausts (Y-pipe back) ... thinking of getting one
I have decided that I would like to lighten the car up significantly and get a little power and melody as well. I know Ti exhausts carry a $$$ premium. But if I can shed 50+ lbs - I think it might just be worth it.
I have looked around a bit and seen that Amuse, ARC, HKS and Fujitsubo have Ti offerings.
Couple questions (vendors -- please chime in):
1. What is the weight of the stock system from y-pipe back? What are the weight of these Ti systems?
2. Sound -- I know that some Ti offerings can be exteremly loud. I am not looking to get everyone in the neighborhood to know when I am leaving for work. Something a bit more pronounced that stock would be fine -- but I do NOT want some deafening kazoo for an exhaust.
3. Quality and fitment -- who makes the best? I don't want to deal with grinding, cutting or welding.
4. Appearance -- I really like the look of the Fugitsubo -- but I think they all look fine basically. And I am more function over form anyway -- but I do want to keep my dual tip outlet.
If anyone knows of a place where I can get a good price -- that would be a plus.
Thanks for any input.

i have the fuji ti and i really like it...the sound, quality, fitment and appearence will definately exceed your expectations...i don't know the exact specifications on the weight but it is significantly lighter than the stock exhaust
the Ti one weighed in at 24 lbs total on my car....significantly lighter than stock
fit wise I had no issues with the Fujitsubo ti on my car. I have also heard of no issues with the Amuse either (sold a couple). Any mods needed, if any, would be around the shield that protects the fuel lines on the passenger side rear. I had a slight issue with this on my car when I had the Apexi Hybrid Megaphne (JDM spec), and a quick trim with the Dremel solved it
We actually have an ARC ti one in stock right now - it does not resemble the one on our site though as that was a preproduction design that they never decided to make. The one they make is a traditional cat back not a dual as shown on our site. I'll update the pics tomorrow.
Sound wise, I have only heard the Fujitsubo and Amuse. I prefer the exotic sound of the Amuse personally, but I love the sound of my Fuji. The Fuji is also a bit more stealth looking as its all a solid color, whereas the Amuse has the traditional burnt look to the tips and canisters
