FS: Reclining Bride seat with rails - bolt in 350Z and G
SOLD
$250 plus actual shipping.
When I bought my track car, it came with a Bride seat. It's a little too wide for my frame and I need to end up with a fixed-back (i.e. non-reclining) seat in the long run, so have this one to sell. The seat rails are included. I don't know which model it is, as I did not purchase it myself originally. I don't think it is any of the ones currently offered: http://www.hopupracing.com/brrage.html
It was bought in 2004 before there was a "Bride Taiwan" - it is an authentic Japanese Bride seat.
I've used it for without much issue, even though the locking mechanism that holds the reclining portion in place is broken on both sides (see pics). What that means is that you can pull the seat forward freely by pulling on it since there is no latch (compared to flipping the latch then pulling it forward).
A positive about this seat is that the pattern very closely matches that of the stock cloth seats, and I have received numerous comments about how nicely it matches the stock passenger seat.

$250 plus actual shipping.
Yes, I've had it for sale (locally) for a year, but now that the car just got painted and is getting a full cage, it's time for a pair of fixed-back race seats.
Thanks.

i don't mind that you can pull the back portion forward freely, but is it still adjustable? meaning, if I set the back to a certain position, will it stay at that position if I don't pull it forward?
I believe so - I'll check to confirm. I hadn't really taken notice since it sits against the roll bar, but I don't remember it lifelessly falling backwards before I installed the bar.

Yessiree! And will do, thanks!
I wonder if it is the Brix I versus the II that's currently sold. If so, this seat was >$900 new!
Thanks for your interest. The seat is for sale until $ is exchanged! Dibs = PayPal deposit!
You should come check it out this weekend to see if it will work for you. A local sale would certainly be easier (you need to check out the NorCal for-sale subforum more often!)

Let me know when you're down here, if its still available then I am interested...
Also, exactly what can't you do with the seats because of the broken seat parts? Does it still lock in place and can it still be adjusted?

From all that I've played with it, it locks the rearward motion but it freely pulls (reclines) forward. Normally you have to disengage the lock with a lever (like most seats) to pull it forward, but since that lock is broken, it is free to recline forward. It's not an issue when you are sitting in the seat with your weight against it and/or with your seat belt on. . . from what I can tell (since I've been tracking with it). It's just too big for me, and I've already purchased a fixed-back race seat to replace it.
