FS: Roadster Roll Cage * TOP FUNCTIONAL * NO CUTTING
Well, in retrospect, this would have SAVED me a ton of money.
A couple of years ago, I got interested in tracking my 07 roadster.
Like I said, without a cage, no-one will let you on track.
Long story short, I ended up buying an 03 coupe.
So now, instead of having a convertible with a cage, I have two Z's!!!!!!

From pictures that I've seen of this cage when it was installed, it appears that I could leave my stock seats in place (as long as they are forward a bit). I have the burnt orange with black mesh seats, and I just can't imagine living without them. I'm 5'6", so I already sit with my seat a good bit forward. I just wanted to confirm that the side bars along the door area will pass by the factory seats. Also if you know about how far the seats need to be forward, that would be helpful as well.
I know that you don't have it installed, but thanks in advance for any info that you can provide.

I formerly had those identical seats. Loved them too but upgraded to fixed bucket Brides when I made the transformation. I'm 6' and was most often in the car wearing combat boots.
The door bars do not obstruct oem seat movement and you should only need to be about an in and a half forward from all the way back...
