Looks great. Is it hard to get in and out of the car with that bar across the door?

Thanks guys. Door bars are removable for streeting...

Depending on how you want it, it could entirely be built to be removable but it was intended to be built such that everything but the back bracket connecting to the existing roll hoops is removable.

VERY unique piece!
Might be worth posting in the "Competition items" section also.

Brent and I talked about it and he did not think it was series certified for anything in particular. Similarly, I just purchased it to keep my head on my shoulders if I roll... So I figuered it would not work in the competition section because one can not compete with it...

I haven't been on here in a long while. Nice to see these familiar names and faces...

I was thinking more for anyone interested in HPDE.
If there is anyone out there wanting to track your ZR, you NEED this cage.
I don't think there are any organizations out there who will let you drive your ZR on track without some form of aftermarket roll bar.

+1 If you want to track a Roadster at all, you do absolutely NEED this cage.

For track insurance and liability reasons which should be more than obvious, just to go to open drift days and such, some sort of cage is required...

Thanks for reminding me...

Dude, I can't even verbalize how badly I want this cage. fapfapfap

If I didn't have a 2 month old, new baby girl in the house, I would be emptying everything I had to get this. All I can say is that I have tax money and a possible bonus coming at the end of the quarter/month, and if things are good (and the wife doesn't kill me for spending this much), I will be all over this.

Just in case, I'm going to go buy a SC lottery ticket tomorrow, so wish me luck

Haha, you win the lotto, you can have the cage for free if you buy my Z for $50,000...

Default Deal

Reminds me of that Nicholas Cage movie where he gives half of his winnings to the lady in the diner. I'll bite. In fact, I'll take a picture of the lottery ticket when I buy it tomorrow and we can both hope for a win!

BTW, the angel on my left shoulder says "GLWS", but the devil on the right says "Gawd, I hope it doesn't sell soon."

Also, sorry for heading off-thread - thread-jacking stops... NOW.

No worries, boss. As popular and desirable an item as this is, I don't think it will be flying off the shelf. It's only for select group whom A. Have roadsters or B. Have deep pockets or an actual track need.

I'm in no hurry to sell it so don't worry.
