Every z comes pre wired for steering wheel audio controls.. it will work on your stock stereo. If after market stereo, then you sill need an adapter from your local car stereo store it's about 30 bucks. Glws op.

After swapping the interior on my '03 track model to the 07-08 interior (including the steering wheel), I found no evidence of pre-wiring for audio controls. The '03-04 models did not have audio controls as a factory option, so there was no plug or wiring for it behind the wheel.
