Has anyone disassembled their rear view mirror in an attempt to eliminate the case vibration experienced during heavy bass? Mine seems to be getting worse with time. How many have actually had their mirror replaced? I know I've read about a few. Thanks.
There was as TSB posted for this issue on a different 350z site. But lately that site has been down so I can't find the think for you right now.
But I will try to explain, 90% of vibration from the rear view mirror is caused by the wire covers. Basically all you have to do is get some "Cloth Tape" and paste them on the (wire covers) long plastic pieces that just come right off. It will eliminate 90% of the vibration.
PS
I have no clue to where to get a hold of some cloth tape so I just cut strips of thick double sided tape.
