Okay, i installed my plenum with the big ol honkin 1/2", divining-rod-lookin, old-school torque wrench i use to torque my lug nuts, but i'm thinkin i should have a smaller one for smaller, more accurate torquings like my plenum. What would you guys recommend, and where can i get one for the best price? Cost is a factor.

 

I'm going say you don't want to go cheap on torque wrenches. I got mine at Sears 20 years ago (damn I'm getting old) and they have never let me down. sears.com has a Craftsman 3/8 in. 25 - 250 in/lbs for $60 - $70.

 

Which plenum, Crawford, Kinetix or other?

The Kinetix is torqued to such a LOW torque value, I would recommend you go to Sears and get a wrench that measures in "inch" pounds. It is costly, but......
