Question What causes wheel hop?

Other than tires, could it be transmision or engine mounts? coz everytime I spin my wheels I get this strong hopping! even in second gear

yeah, I'd like to know too.

I know that independant rear suspensions are more susceptible.

It can be caused by alot of things. In my opinion the thing that cause 90% of it in the Z is insufficient shock damping. I can dial wheel hop out of the car almost completely with the konis.

Now, I'm hearing rattling noise with the excessive wheel hop!! Checked the exhaust and was fine!!

On another thread someone mentioned somthing about a bumper bracket! Could this be the rattle sound?
