Check Engine Light came on today Evaporative Systems Emissions Control Leak
Hi, I've recently installed headers, high flow cats, UR Pulley, and a KOYO Radiator. The car was sitting on jack stands for almost 2 months on half a tank of gas.
I just got done with everything on Saturday (4 days ago). Today after driving it less than 10 minutes I got a check engine light, I shut the car off then turned it back on and it went off.
I went to get my oil changed and I had them check the code and they said it was an Evaporative Systems Emissions Control Leak.
Can anyone verify what this error means. I was told it was a gas cap not being on tight, but I haven't filled up my tank for about 2 months. The only thing i could think of is if it is gas cap related is that it sitting around had an effect on the pressure..
Thanks for any help.

Always make sure the gas cap clicks at least three times when you close it to ensure it has a good seal. I've had that happen to me a number of times back when I used to get full service. The attendant would just click it once and send me on my way and next thing you know, CEL!
On the other hand, maybe if you had a certain amount of condensation in your tank, that might affect something too, but I don't really know about that.

Bring it to your dealer.I had the same problem there is a reflash for it.My car is a pre-order #620 all they do is broaden the paramiters so it is not so sensitive, it is for emissions. It's just B.S.
