So i pulled it in the garage left it like that all night this morning it was allright???? Ha sthis happened to anyone else? Is there a TSB on this? Do I need to take it in for service? I have never seen anything like it!

That is a strange problem that you've encountered with you Z. Either it be TSB or not just have dealer fix the problem since still under warranty.

It happen to me. What I've done when that situation happens. I just hold up on the button to keep the window up and take the key out of the ingition. Then I'll take my finger off the rolling the window up button. The window will stay up and after that, the problem won't happen for a little while. Don't get me wrong it will happen again, but I have no idea what causes it and it only happens every blue moon. Hope that temp. fix will work for you.

I was having this occur intermittently, then it became more frequent. With mine it only happened with the "auto up" feature. If I used the switch without engaging auro up it would work okay. I took the car to the dealer and they re-set the power window control module under warranty, it hasn't happened since. I think there may be a TSB on this, but I'm not sure. My dealer told me they are seeing this on Maximas too.

I had the same problem. I took the car to the dealership and they fixed it under warranty. When I picked up the car the service rep told me my stereo installer must have hit the switch when the door panel was off. All they had to do was reset the switch. I told him the stereo had been done for a year before the window started dropping. Not sure about some of these guys. I think they are trained to always pass the responsibility on to the owner.

Default I pulled into PHL about 40min ahead of my departure time

Put down the window to get a ticket @ economy parking. Pushed it up - it went up and went back down and down it stayed. I was very frustratrated. I could not leave it open - but I also could not miss my flight. I decided to leave it and call my wife to come down and get it with my dad. Got back in to try one last time, turned the key and voila - it went up - without any help or push of any button.

I was more than a little miffed - Took it to the dealer when I got back and they fixed it - no problem under warranty (Colonial Nissan Rocks).

My point? - If its happened to you once - get it fixed. You never know what circumstance you may find yourself in where having a dead window in the down position may cost you.

Took my 03 touring in last week because drivers side window wasn't going down when opening and closing door and it was lowering about 6" by itself. Dealer ordered a new regulator and installed it yesterday. Window seems to be working now but I still don't think it drops the 10mm its supposed to when opening and closing door. I think the dealer must have had some bad reviews of service dept. because when I was leaving he told me "you'll be getting a survey from Nissan, could you do us a favor?" I told him if the problem was fixed I would.
