I've had this problem less in the winter but now since it's been warmer, it happens a little more frequently.

My car's immobilizer won't recognize my key's chip sometimes so I end up turning the key and the car does not crank. After a couple tries, then it will recognize my key.

I guess it's not a big deal, but it definitely is annoying. I'm afraid it won't start at all one day.

Anyone else have this problem or know what the deal is?
