I'm wondering the same thing. I was looking at a vented CF hood, and guess it weighs under 30lbs. I'm wondering how much of a weight difference there is. Also if the hood has vents, is there a problem driving it in the rain? What if I'm caught in a taffic jam and rain is pouring straight in?

if i don't remember wrong , it is 25lbs.

 

I did 4 or 5 searches and found all kinds of stuff on hoods, but nothing about weight other than the weight of a particular CF hood being 22-26 lbs. I think you guys answered my question about that, thank you.

What about venting? So if the CF hood is no lighter, maybe I could get my stock hood vented would this be a problem with the elements?
