Arrow Rookie Question: How do I know if I have a feathering problem?

I just bought my 03 350Z about a month ago, and I've heard about all the problems with the feathering issue. Since I have never had a car that was prone to this problem I really don't know what to look or listen for. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanx -

This might help you out a bit though I dont know how efficient this article is:

http://www.nissantireproblems.com/
Here's the bit that you might be interested in:

"Tire feathering occurs when the tread ribs actually scrape down the road. It's a common occurrence when the tire has a camber problem or needs toe-in or toe-out alignment. With the Nissan 350z, reports of extremely loud tire noise (sometimes identified as tire roar or howling) almost always accompany the tire feathering problem. Once the tire wear begins, so does the noise. The more miles accumulated, the louder the noise gets."

in short, it will roar when you come to a stop. Pretty noticeable. BTW: You're lucky if Nissan replaces them for you the first time (wiht a 6 month wait).....dont count on them replacing it a second time.

And since you're the second owner, I'd really have my fingers crossed
