Default Friend Grinded 3rd Gear Briefly - Change fluid?

Hey, like the title suggests, I let a good friend test drive the Z (last time I let this happen by the way) and despite his good MT driving abilities, he ended up grinding my 3rd gear briefly. I don't know HOW... since my clutch engages very high, but that's neither here nore there.

He grinded it for maybe 0.5 seconds, I'm sure you've all heard the dreaded sound.

In any case, do you think I should replace or flush (whatever it is you do) the transmission fluid? Any other measures I should take for the safety and longevity of the tranny?

The transmission seems fine, I doubt there's any serious damage. My 3rd gear still feels fine and engages fine... no slipping AFAIK.

I think its okay, but if it keeps happening repeatedly you may have a problem.

I was planning on replacing the tranny and differential fluid along with oil since my breakin period is over... I am definitely curious to see the condition of the tranny fluid.

trash the whole thing and get a new transmission asap... j/k :P it should be ok... i would recomend the pedal adjustment and maybe even change out the fluid just as an upgrade.
