stiff toothbrush + zaino leather cleaner + patience!

I have used that cleaner to get black permanent marker ink off of light tan leather before, works like a charm and cleans the leather exceptionally well! Good luck...

Exact product:

http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/...ory_Code=Zaino

Also worth the buy is their leather conditioner, applied after the cleaner...re-oils everything. Let it sit for a few hours after application and it will also have your interior smelling brand new

If it is a Sharpie it might not come out. The best thing you can use is FinalNet Hairspray. Yes it works to remove ink or marker from vinyl or leather. Be sure to condition the spot after you use the FinalNet.

As I said, I have used the Zaino cleaner to remove Sharpie from leather in the past -- Sharpie that had been on the leather for months, completely dry and baked in (this was a convertible).

Get alcohol swabs...the marker will come off if it's a sharpie. It will take a lot of rubbing. If it doesn't disappear it will be markedly less. Used to use sharpies in the lab all the time...alcohol will pull their markings off as long 99% of the time.
