Default Removing flywheel...quick questions...

I searched everywhere for this but had no luck finding an answer.

I have a JWT Flywheel going in my car this tuesday at my house. For my rx7 I had to use a flywheel stop to get the main nut off (a 1 3/8" nut torqued to 350 ft. lbs). I see in the Z factory service manual that I need the same SST but with it being 6 bolts torqued to no more than 70 ft. lbs. is this really necessary.

Thanks, just want to make sure before I drop the tranny.

Is what necessary? Six bolts, 70 ft-Lbs, or the special stop tool?

The special stop tool, now that I have really thought about it more, It will be easy to do without a stop tool because I'm using an impact wrench.

For removal, impact is a great option. You may still need a stop tool for installation because you'll have to torque the bolts.
