finish maintenance
I hope this goes through as I spent a half hour composing a message yesterday, only to lose it when I went to submit it.
So I will keep this one short and hope it works; here tis;
I have read many of the messages concerning poor body finish, soft finish etc. on the Z and am concerned about putting on a high quality wax/cleaner/polisher etc etc system on my car that wont become a full time obsession and still permit me to drive the thing once in a while. Also I am very lazy. Amongst some of the products I have been considering are the line of Zymol products. I have been reading about Zaino? but have not come across it through any of the usual channels. Can anyone elucidate or give me some opinions. One thing to keep in mind is that the car is NOT GARAGED!! but is under a Noah California Car Cover. It is also the light silver color (Cloud?) and the paint is in perfect shape. (No noticeable orange peeling.) I got the car on Aug. 31st and unfortunately the Odometer hasn't broken 400 yet. Don't ask. Any suggestions would be welcome. Also, I live in eastern Pennsylvania, so weather is always iffy if that is a factor. Thanks again!

Next time, instead of spending a half hour to compose a message, use the time to search on this subject. You'll find hundreds, if not more threads to review.
Although I use Zaino, I know from reading the other threads that other products like Blackfire and Mothers work well. Takao, the owner of this site, also runs the company that sells CrystalGuard, another type of finish protection that comes in an apply and wipe application (helpful if you're "lazy").
See what you find in the searches, and good luck.

thank you Z33fan for your reply.
Yes I did look over a ton of posts all extolling the virtues of Zaino.
Unfortunately I never heard of Zaino but am willing to try it out, after I find out who sells it. Just out of curiousity, is this a product generally out there or via the net only? Zymol is one that I have been reading more about and wondered if any Z'eezers have knowledge of it and what their experience has been.
Having only washed the car a few times (it has been under cover almost since new) I an anxious to get the right product on it the first time and not experiment with a lot of arcane cult products. Also I want to do the job right the first time and not make a hobby out of its maintenance. Yeah, I'm one of those.
PS:
Do you find the low-beams are aimed so that there seems to be a blind area between between the car and where the beam eventually falls? It is hard to describe, but when I was barreling along a country road a while ago, I found that the beam was not indicating what was directly before the car, rather further out than I was used to with my other vehicles. Since we live in deer a multiple critter territory this can be kind of dangerous. Yes it does mean I had to slow down and take in more of the dark scenery than I cared for. I was wondering if the Nissan could adjust the angle of the lens?? Will be talking to the dealer sometime in the near future.
