Funny just saw on there site that they have taken down there Xerd test pipes and there no-name test pipes (which is what I got instead of the Xerds even tho I paid for Xerds.) Now they have Pro-1 test pipes for sale with a Helix test pipe picture! LOL!

 

Actually the Pro-1 test pipes are 100% better quality than XERD and Helix combined..Better welds,thicher flanges,better fitment,thicker piping..Just FYI..

Im not questioning Pro-1's quality, Im saying they cant even get the picture of the Pro-1 pipes. They are using Helix test pipes pictures, seems pretty dumb, why not put nothing instead of putting a pic up of somthing else that has its name clear as day labled on it.

Im just bringing it up b/c they sold me "Xerd" pipes, but what was shipped to me was some cheap rip off no-name pipe that didnt even fit right.

I like Xerd pipes for there bracket, that is my selling point. I dont have any in person so I cant comment on the welding but its 304 so the quality cant be to bad.

 

I am not bashing anyone but here is how my problem was handled. I posted my problem on the first page. Well I did receive my pro-1 engine torque dampner- thank you 350zforums. The only problem is that it came with 2 mounting brackets and no hardware to mount them ie..nuts, bolts, washers or instructions. The product is useless without these necessary parts. I just can't freelance and but it anywhere in the engine bay. So, I e-mailed 350zforums and he promptly replied pro-1 sends it that way and that is how I will receive it. Then I replied he should post that under the picture for the unaware consumer. 350zforums located some bolts and stated pro-1 must have gotten many complaints about this. I should receive the mounting hardware Wednesday accourding to the last e-mail. Now my problem is- does anyone know how to mount this engine torque dampner?

 

So the damper came without mounting hardware AND instructions? Sheeeit, now THAT is another quality product from 350zrippoffs.org.

Trying to go off on me for starting this thread and that he does not sell Z parts anymore. So I tell him good so now he can rip people off anymore...It was a funny converstaion I just thought I would share with the forums

 

Ya they tried to play tuff guy with me on IM, "You agreed to the terms of agreement and we are not scared of your threats." Last I checked the TOA didnt say anything about being able to give you a different product other than what you paid for, and as my credit card co. informed me what they did was illegal and I can get my money back through them, but I am taking a different route that you guys will hear about at some point in the furture.

Whats funny is they have an excuse for everything, even if you show them that picture or have a Pro-1 representative they will INSIST Pro-1 is wrong and they are right. I mean why would the people who make the product know more about it than them!?

I seriously was laughing my *** off when this loser was trying to go off and be tough on the IM.....Crying about how I am smearing their name all over the boards.....I told him that it was funny how there are so many more people who had the same experiance.... Whatta D*CK!

 

mgk65- the only thing that looks familiar to the picture is the strut. the mounting brackets are totally different and I have no idea how to install. I tried mounting it from the picture from their website but the brackets are different.

Bobman: I am reading here and I can see that many wrong things were said and you have my apologies.

ZERO-FACTORY is now in charge 100% of 350zforums and will be making MANY changes. You can see we have already killed off the site and rebuilt a new one.
