From the "I'm an idiot" file
Hi all, I posted in the light mods section, but didn't get any responses, so I thought I would try here.
Problem:
I believe I accidentally crossed the wires of one of the rear marker lights.
Basically, I was putting an LED where the small bulb once was. Everything was fine and dandy (I tested the lgihts), so I put the covers back on. When I went to see them with covers on, no lights.
So, I believe that the pos and neg disconnects I attached touched (as I forgot to cover them). Now, no marker light, front or back comes on.
I was reading through posts and noticed this quote in another thread:
"Did you go over the basics check all the fuses in all three fuse boxes. The one inside the car and the two under the hood"
Where is the third exactly (the one under the hood I know of is in the battery compartment)? I have checked all fuses in the two I know of, and also checked that power is being supplied. Power = good, no fuses are broken, but I have not checked the third, as I can't find it
So, please, any help, ideas, are very much appreciated. I just can't see the crossing of those wires to cause any major damage...I hope!
I have an 03 Track Pack
THanks.

The fuse box I posted about is right behind the battery. You have to remove the plastic pieces that cover the battery there is probably nine or ten plastic clips that hold them in. Nissan calls it the Intelligent Power Distribution Module or IPDM. Its right against the firewall.
Thank you! It took me a while to get everything off so that I could get to the panel, but once I did, I took off the cover (also a little difficult) and much to my delight, I saw a broken fuse. Popped in a new one, and I'm back to good again! What a pain, but what a relief.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
