~~~~Sorry for the repost, need a quicker response...~~~
I had a malfunctioned passenger side Cat O2 sensor for 4 months, so my SES was on for 4 months. Today I replaced it with a used O2 Sensor that I got from a member here, but the SES light is still on after resetting the ECU. I got the code P0037, "HO2S Bank 1 Sen 2 Heater Circuit Low". Does that mean I fried my O2 sensor fuse? Fried the wiring? Or is it because the used O2 sensor is malfunctioning also?
By the way I have the SAFC-2 and the setting is kinda to the rich-side, could that be too rich? Anyone has any ideas? Please help out, thanks.
There are 4 banks of 02 sensors in the 350z. All of which are set to be 0.05v and are the wide band O2 type. If the sensor you have is not that type it could be the issue.If it is the same type it looks to be elsewhere or the SAFC is changin something.
Bank 1 Sensor 2 is reading the wrong voltage or none at all. Were you able to get a code prior to replacing the sensor?
I doubt you fried the wiring by pluggin it in. What has the local Nissan said? Parts that are emmissions related have longer warranties and are covered even if the car is sold and the bumper to bump is gone.
