Default Just had alignment, now steering is not center.

Well my Z was in for an alignment, everything checked out. But when I drive it to keep the car straight I have to slightly turn the steering wheel to left, when I corrected it dead center the car wants to go to the right. Anyone else suffering this? Its not a big deal but I'm really **** about things like this. Seems like others are having this same problem. BTW its an 2004.

I would take it back to the shop, but I'm afriad they might make it worst.

does this happen on all roads you been on?
the z is very touchy when it comes to the road crown. mine does this as well, but it is very small and i aligned the car and made sure it was centered. but driving on the opposite side of the road, basically driving against the flow of traffic, the wheel had to be turned to the right.

if all checks out, post up your alignment specs and maybe there is a problem there.

The horizontal spokes of the steering wheel should be parallel to the visual line of the dash. NISSAN took care of my steering wheel Tuesday. Its now perfect.

Sounds like your problem may be simple to solve. When the last alignment was done, the technician did not center your steering wheel before adjusting your toe. During the alignment, the tech perceives both wheels to have a toe "problem" where both wheels were pointed left...he proceeds to adjust within spec...and walla!...front end is "properly" adjusted but the steering wheel is off center.
Take it back and have the boneheads redo the job.
