Default Tranny Prob

I have an 04' 350 Roadster. After the firse month the tranny started to become harder and felt as if it was grinding into thrid gear. Last year i took it to the dealership with 1500 miles and they told me that they couldnt do anything about it.. How can i get the dealership to replace my tranny, or does anyone know the reason for this prob............

nearly everyone with early z's has the third gear grind. Tell them that it is a documented problem and that many other owners have the same problem. If they tell you they do not know about it, they are lying. If they say no, talk to whomever you can and insist that they fix it. or you can go to another dealer.

This is what a friened of mine did to get a new trannie. At freeway speed put it in neutral release the clutch and then grind the hell out of the third gear gate until the thing blows up. No choice but to replace it then. They don't take them apart to see whats wrong with them so who cares. You get a new transmission!

Besides the hundreds of posts here

"Sticky: Post here only if you have had your TRANNY replaced."

...this is the first time that I’ve heard about the problem.
