Default preventative maintenance??

just a quick question....i have a 2003 and it has 14,000 miles on it. all i have done as far as routine maintenance is changing the oil at the proper intervals. do we really need any other maintenance done? i know the dealership tries to rip you off with inspections and all that. is it really needed with low miles? of course i keep an eye on the fluids and clean the air filter, etc.

Refer to the owner's manual for recommended service intervals for various fluids/components.

i changed the front brake pads yesterday before sundown with oem pads at just under 16k miles in my 03 base 6 spd...took me about an hour to do the fronts....the rear pads are still good for another 10k at least. .... the fronts were showing a lot of wear with less than half the thickness of the new ones, didn't want to take any chances even though they could have lasted another 3000 miles. the rotors are still in excellent shape.
as far as i'm concerned......my z is a low maintenance vehicle and a daily driver, just change the oil at regular intervals and be happy.
