Default Brand new engine bounces off rev at 2500 RPM

Couple of days ago, i drove the my friends 2005 350Z off the lot and at 2500 RPMS the cars starts to Shake and rpm needle bounces up and down. It felt like iwas hitting rev limiter. The car was parked on an incline for a few days before we drove it from the dealer. Then i turned off the car and started it again, the problem went away. wierd man, anyone know what happeneD?

check the air intake. Is it loose or improperly sealed? From what i've read most of the limp mode problems have been due to that and easily fixed.

It could be a number of things. You should get an OBDII scanner and see what the ecu is seeing. If you don't have one, or can't find one, Autozone lends them out on their "loan a tool" program. Scan it, see what it says, reset it, maybe that will take care of it, in itself.
