Default Tire pressure monitor reading 7psi too low

Anyone else have this problem?

(Dealer doesn't know of any fix. Only workaround to avoiding alarm is to seriously overinflate. Upon dealers suggestion I'm going to call NNA and ask about this.)

Who's your dealer? Did they reset the monitor(s) to see if that cleared it up?

I would think they would replace it if it was incorrect...

They did reset it but the error is the same. Apparently nothing they know of to replace.

My tire pressure monitors read about 2-3psi too low (all of them). I ended up inflating the tires such that the cold pressure reading is 36psi according to my handheld tire pressure gauge, but 34psi according to the monitors.

I guess I am lucky that the discrepancy isn't too great, but the problem is definitely there. I'll bring it up w/ the dealer when I take the car in for its first oil change--if I learn anything useful, I'll post it here.

Cheers,

The Bode
