Not sure if anyone cares, but the OEM oil plug for my VQ35DE ('03 track model) had a thread which measured 12 mm (diameter) by 10 mm (length, not including 14 mm head & flange). Thread pitch is 1.25. This probably applies across the FM platform line to include the G35 coupe and sedan and perhaps even the FX35.

I was hoping to order one of Aeroquip's new quick-drain fittings, with an AN-spec male half that has a positive seal and a nice anodized aluminum cap. You simply screw on a female half to drain all your oil. Unfortunately, I don't see that particular thread pitch listed in the latest catalog, so I'll either stick to a bolt and washer or consider Fram's lower tech version of the quick drain.
