Congratulations on the new 350Z and welcome. In the future, a post such as this will get more attention in “repairs” instead of the general forum. And a title such as “No return clutch” will spark members interest.

Concerning the clutch: are you having problems now?

when you're trying to burn out, don't shift into second gear until the car's velocity (not speed) is high enough to warrant shifting into second. obviously if the rpm's are too high for the target gear, then the clutch slips. yup burning smell.

the dealer will tell you that everything is ok. well it is, but you most likely made the life of your clutch a little bit shorter.

ok, i know i'm assuming a lot of things here... lol

but, i'll admit, it's what i did a long time ago.
