Hey guys, this is my next step in searching for the elusive trunk rattle. Is there some special way to get the plastic pieces on the underside of the hatch off? I don't want to just start ripping 'em off and breaking any clips. Any help is greatly appreciated!

It pops off, there are plastic pins. Start at a corner ands gently pull, I did it when it was cold and I didn't break any. Just work around slowly and keep the pressure on it, it will come right off.

 

the ones on the side pull towards the center of the car, the other ones just pop right off, give it a good yank and you will see...

 

Thanks guys, and as far getting it back on, just line up the clips and push the pieces back in?

 

for me its not the trunk rattling its rather the suspension seats being bad...

 

To put it back on, just line it up, start on one side and work your way around. It's really easy. Like you, I like to hear that before I attempt the unknown too!!!
