I mean a genuine race style gas cap like you see on motorcycle tanks. maybe something in black chrome with billet fastener rivets. Dont tell me that wouldnt look good!

 

It looks ok, but it is really cheaply made. the question reallyis, will it hold up over time

 

The color is OK on my CS but is doesn't always line up well. It's so flimsy that I can push it around until the gap is even. It sometimes doesn't open on the first push, I routinely hit the button about 3 times now. A brushed aluminium one would be great. The filler cap is mediocre but I can live with it.

Why can't all cars come with the filler on the drivers side? It is so much easier to see where you are lining up with the pump and you don't have to walk around the car just to see that the damn filler door didn't open. This is a no brainer car companies, are you listening?

 

My fuel door is rather disappointing. It does not line up well with the curves of the car and seems very cheap for such a high dollar automobile.

 

Any update on a replacement yet? What ever happened to dream workes racing?

 

A metal fuel door would be great...
