So today i was sitting on a hill waiting to pull out into traffic and i had my ebrake engaged to hold me on the hill until i was ready to go. Then all of the sudden i hear a faint "thud" and the car just starts rolling back. My first thought was a snapped the cable as the lever has a much loser feel now, but it still works somewhat with the lever fully engaged.

Anyone ever have this issue? If so how do i adjust the e-brake?

mine does it too. i think the e-brake is just weak. i always leave the car in gear on hills

 

tighten it up w/ the nut right behind the ashtray/coin holder
