Angry under the license plate frame

I just took my front license plate frame off of the Z today and did not like what I saw beneath... there was a small gouge (probably about a 1/2 cm in length) under there... about halfway between the two drilled holes for the plate.

Should I bring the Z (which I've had for exactly 8 days) back to the dealer for a repair? Or am I stuck with this?

I'd like to hear some opinions... and whether or not anyone else had damage under the plate.

Thanks for your help...

It might be due to the length of screws/bolts used to attach the liscense plate. My dealer warned me to get really short screws for attaching the plate.

Thumbs up good news... hopefully

I brought her in today and they want me to bring her back Monday. Apparently, the body shop at Nissan is going to fix it up. Whether that means playing with the current bumper or throwing a whole new one on... not sure yet. But I will keep you guys posted. Thanks a lot.

I feel like I have a lot of pull in there because I am advertising the Z all over the area (just by owning the car). If I am not happy, then people will avoid them.
