Anyone here have a way to reproduce the grind when the car is warm? I keep taking the car to the dealer, they said the tranny is fine, even when i try to shift 2-3 as fast as i can, doesn't grind when the tech is in the car... I know the problem is there, but this dealer won't acknowledge it... primarily because I can't reproduce the grind. I know for a fact that 3rd gear grinds very badly when the car is cold when shifted fast... NNA said to let it be till it gets worse... but the problem is frustrating the heck out of me... any ideas? Thanks.

 

Dealer told me to leave it overnight and they'd look at it in the morning after it sits overnight.

Now that the weather is a bit better here, I'll make the appointment and bring it in this week.

I'm going to post on my Jan 8th Thread now to see what has happened to a guy who was getting a new trans, and to see what his results were.
