I like it but shouldn't you get tools in millimeters?

looks good... I've been using a craftsman set and I really like it. I broke a deep socket using it with an impact gun, I didn't have the righ size in my impact sockets, but it got the job done. Took it to sears and they exchanged it no questions asked...

BTW the set has both metric and std.

depending if you are getting a tool box later on. if you are getting a box later on get what you need. you can buy sets of deep, shallow, different extensions etc.. and not have all the left over. these kits are a good starter type kit.

personally i hate the craftsman basic ratchet.

get a tool bag from harbor freight. use that to take your tools to the track.

This is actually the same set I use. The laser etched sockets are a nice feature. Got it on sale a few months ago for around the same price.. maybe $160? Good set overall, go for it.
