Default kinetix plenum help!!!

Just got done installing my kinetix v+ plenum and now the car will not start! I secured everything and made sure that all of the hoses were re-attached... The only thing that I think it could be would be the bypass for the coolant... I am confused on why the car is not starting and would appreciate any help. The car turns over and gets going for a bout a second or two, and then shuts off promptly.

Any help would be great!

Chris

check to see if you re-installed the vacum lines back up to the throttle body and that the gray electrical conector is connected to the throttle body on besides that the bypass valve wouldn't cause the car to shut down it would just **** coolant just go around and re-check everything go through the install instructions backward and follow step by step.

if you took off the MAF make sure you have it in the right way, if not the car will do what you are describing. sounds like the maf is backwards. let us know.

The MAF is backwards??? I followed instructions and connected everything where it was supposed to go. You think it has to be something with the MAF or throttle body?

well, i dont know, i cant see it . but take a pic of what it looks like and post it. we will be able to tell you then, or if you cant do that just take off the MAF and reverse it. if it works then that was the problem.

step 1: remove kinetix plenum
step 2: put OEM plenum back on
step 3: return kinetix plenum and get your money back
step 4: Order Motordyne iso thermal plenum spacer
step 5: Be much happier with what you have now.

Found problem earlier today... I had a few loose bolts that were causing air to leak out! Also, I did not secure the throttle body bolts tight enough I gues...

As for the motordyne thermal spacer, I already had one, and actually wanted a change. Thanks though for the help everyone!

If your CEL came on, it will go out in a couple of days. I had it happen to me when I fail to connect a vacuum line and started the car.
