Whats the max HP can the Z handle??

Seeing how some supra's can get over 800 rwhp (900-1k engine) Will the Z even come close to this?

 

Who knows. It's bound to require a new cluth though, I think the Z clutch is rated for under 400hp. I know a guy in Dallas who has his at nearly 500hp.

 

you could get a good amount of power, 4-500 Id guess, but then you have to swap some stuff out to keep going. but then wheres the line gonna be drawn? engine swap? the possibilities are endless. and eventually instead of increasing power, youll have to reduce weight.

bolt on turbo, no internal mods, stock drivetrain, Id say 400 on the safe side, 500 MAYBE, clutch life probably wouldnt be real long. if you swap stuff like pistons, clutch, sleeves, rods, bigger than normal turbo, ect Id say 700hp is possible, but thats a guess. if you wanna match supra power, I think youd have to have a steel block.
