I have a rattle from the center dash that sounds like it's coming from somehere around the oil pressure, battery, speedo gauges. I'm not sure, but its coming from somwhere around there. I haven't had much luck finding it. So now I have to play my music all the time so as not to hear the annoying rattle (I have an alpine audio system so I do enjoy listening to music). It happens when I ride over rough roads or bumps. Has anyone else had this problem or know where it's coming from. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Check that little round piece on the passengers side (opposite the alarm led). I think it is a temperature sensor for climate control. Mine rattles. The sound it makes kind of moves around. Sometimes it sounds like the airbag and other times it sounds like its coming from the center console area.

 

I have a rattle that occurs when I'm driving at slow speeds in my neighborhood. I have pinpointed it to be coming from the dash right next to the windshield on the drivers side. You will see where there are 2 plastic dash pieces overlaping thats where my rattle is coming from.

 

Yup! I have that exact rattle as well, been there since 1000 miles and now i'm at 4400. Have you guys tried fixing it yet?

I have not tried to fix it yet, but I am hoping to get around to it soon.
