Exclamation My Dealership Needs To Get A Life!

whatsup..i posted a thread on general discussion a few days ago about my car smoking like a turbo diesel...I have a Jim Wolfe pop charger installed monday and a set of 18" wheels in 8.5-9.5 with 275-40s in the rear..i take it to the shop for them to look at icall next day never can get ahold of anyone that day i droped it off said"it dont look good"..and said they took it for a test drive...and pulled it back in the garage and what do you know the Nissan district represenitive would be there..to take pictures of my car!...the mods and said i had xessive mods..and voided my warranty!i have the premium GOLD package i payed 1100$ for also.car has 37,410 miles.Iv owned the car for 1200 miles now.All service records are there...all oil changes..PERFECT maintance..i get a defective product and they void it cause a pop charger and wheels.!?!..id say the Magnussen Moss Act is in effect here...what do you think...iv been doing my research on this...

UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION
WASHINGTON, D.C. 20580

5. This section states in pertinent part as follows: "No warrantor of a consumer product may condition his written or implied warranty of such product on the consumer's using, in connection with such product, any article or service (other than an article or service provided without charge under the terms of the warranty) which is identified by brand, trade, or corporate name . . ." in

also stating the part has to cause the defective problem. My dealership wouldnt even look at the car.I get aggervated with the service manager..First time i ever had the car to there dealership since iv only owned it 3 weeks..he ***** an attitude with me.I stand my ground..as im only 20 im stereotyped by them and the nissan reputation. Its rediculous.I work for a Porsche and Audi dealership also.I dont now a whole lot of 20 year olds with a 690 credit score by them selves.Just a way for the dealer to try to screw you.So at 9 AM eastern time i am calling 1-800-Nissan 1 with a command list of what i want done.I want arangments of the car to be towed to the other closes nissan dealership 50 miles away!i want the car inspected of the problem and i want my $1100 warranty in effect here.More than likely it seems like a valve guide problem or exhaust valve seal or burnt valve.Car runs fine...idles fine..holds 29 PSI oil pressure at idle,60 when driving, motor temp fine..just burning oil.Can i get some input anyone else had any problems with such?or with a dealer..im beginning to wish i bought the RX-8 insted..i love the Z but Jesus christ..3 weeks in owning it it breaks!?

Does West Virginia have a lemon law?

Three strikes and they're out! Here in California there is a whole system set up to support the people fighting the dealers. There are arbitrators who will negociate, there are arbitration boards and courts, and even lawyers who work for free (to the car owner) to fight the case. Most of the time the manufacture doesn't want to go to the mat as they lose time-and-time again.

Tell the dealer to fix the problem promptly or you'll see him in court.

You need to likewise document the issue - times and dates, reciepts, photographs/videos ... start working your court case early.

They have to prove the popcharger is the cause of the problem. Highly unlikely to do on their part. The rims WILL NOT VOID you warranty!

That is total B.S. Nissan!!! I would raise HELL if I was you!!

Please keep us posted!
