Length of time before stock Tire replacement is?
wats the length of time before stock Tire replacement? as in how many miles usually? i dont think u do tire rotation correct cuz the back is bigger.
There is no way to estimate how many miles you will get on the OEM tires. Characteristics such as driving style, road surface and alignment differ. Lets just say the treadwear of performance tires is less than, say, all-season tires.

tirerack.com has all the answers. i'd go online and be more knowledgeable on tires. The stock Bridgestone tires are not inexpensive to replace. i bought continentals from tirerack when they were on special. i'm pretty impressed with them to say the least. These german made Continentals balanced on stock rims like identical twins with little weights. Also you might want to check the top ten tires list on car&drivers.com
Welcome to the world of sports cars or at least performance tires. I got about 15,000 out of my rears. Looks like the fronts might see 25,000 to 30000. No different for my last car except that by rotating them on a FWD car the whole set was shot by about 27,000. That car went through about 6 or 7 complete sets of tires in 164,000 miles so it does not bother me at all. Not what most would consider a sports car ('94 Ford Probe GT) but is a matter of what type of tires you put on it.
When I went to buy my Z I checked with the tire store and they said to expect a Z to get 15,000 fronts and 10,000 rears.
The only advice I can give to you is what Discount just tried to sell me. They told me to put on Michelin HXMM4 (?) (threw away the paper becuase when I looked them up they were All Season Touring tires and I want maximum performance tires only). Anyway they will warranty the tread on those for 40,000 miles and he said that is what he would put on his car and would not be much of a compromise.
I'm getting the Good Year F1 GS-D3's for the rear next month probably. Read tirerack reviews to pick out what qualities you expect out of a particular tire.
Everything with tires is a tradeoff. Mileage, performance, ride quality, noise, etc. No tire can give you everything you want.
Good luck
