Default Rock vs Driver side mirror

Well the outcome made a nice bunch of pieces of my mirror all over the ground, question is the dealer wants to charge me an arm and a leg for the mirror, saying I need to replace the whole mirror(glass and body piece) I know this is bull but I need to find a place to get a new mirror and how hard is it to take the rest of the broken glass off and put a new mirror piece in ???

So...only the glass is broken? Not the actual mirror? If so I saw a while back euro mirrors for the Z(blue hinted mirrors) that replace just the glass on our cars. Would be a good option for you and I think it was priced around $60. I'll try and find a link when I get home.

ya its just the glass part and I was looking at the Carbign Craft CF mirrors, which I think come with something like that, but im not sure ?

I would just order the mirror but is it a easy DIY kinda thing ?
