So I just bought my Z two weeks ago, has 22k miles on it with vin 107721. Ive read on several forums about the tranny problems and became very worried about it since its beginning to sound like my tranny is a supercharger, and the TOB is pretty loud in neutral.

It also has one other problem, when i turn sharp or when I brake quick i get a clunk sound in the front drivers suspension, im thinking bushing, anyone else had that problem?


The beauty of it all is that the dealership I bought it from told me I didnt have a warranty which seemed insane on a car this new with low miles. I called nissan and they said I still had the 60k 5 year warranty on powertrain so im very happy about that. This same dealership also told me it was missing the factory manual, I found that yesterday in the rear compartment go figure....

One last question, does nissan replace the windows if they are permanently streaked by the rollers? cuz someone tinted my windows before i bought the car and now it has permanent streaks on both pass and driver? Im sure this has been coverd just havent looked.
