Default Fuel Injection Service. When did you get yours done ?

Am approaching my 30k service and am contemplating getting the fuel injection & oil change only as recommended by other users instead of paying $300 for inspection stuff. Am curious how many Z'ers on this forum have had fuel injection service done and whether it has proved beneficial ?

number 5. that was the best answer i could put. there should be one that says No, its a WASTE of money. which it is. all you have to do is run some chevron once a month, DONT run the car all the way to empty and everything will be okay. i took my IM off at 55k and everything looked clean like is was only driven for 100 miles.

I did a fuel injection/ throttle body clean up at dealer for $165 (felt ripped off). Previous owner stated that she always filled it up with 89 gas. I switched to 91 after that service, it felt unnoticable to slight impove on throttle. I dunno if I recommend it, but what ever you feel is necessary for your Z.

Never have.
I have a Jeep GC w/V8 and 85,000, every oil change (3000 mi) put in a bottle of gumout FI cleaner, do the same w/Z. Never had any problems, both run great.

you can just buy the BG cleaner yourself and pour it in the gas tank...then get some throttle body cleaner and clean your throttle body...
