po300 multiple misfire codes
I am getting some multiple misfire codes p0300 and I only have 26k on my 350....any ideas where to start looking.....I am thinking maybe ignition coils because I highly doubt its gonna be plugs
Have you stalled the car a few times (if manual)? what year is it?
Also, when I did an oil change and switched brands of oil, the codes would go away. If the oil is too thin, or if it's not topped off the valvetrain noise throws the codes. My car is a 2003 manual and I still get the codes once in a while if:
car is stalled multiple times
engine is bounced off rev-limiter (redlined) multiple times
engine oil is allowed to go below "normal" level
car is driven hard before allowing oil temp to reach "normal" levels
cheap oil seems to make the problem more obvious.
To trouble shoot this, I would first clear the code and drive for 100 miles. If the code returns then look into the above.
