Angry Dealer ruined my rims !! (long)

I took my Performance to the dealer to get the tires/alignment checked because of the feathering issue. My car had the problem and the road noise became to much.

They did an alignment (toe was off) and they swaped the tires left to right as per Nissan TSB. The dealer doesn't have the equipment to dis-mount and re-mount the lo profile tires on the Z so they sent them out to a local tire shop to do this.

The road noise stoped (for now), but this morning my Tire pressure warning went off (it was cold here this AM), so when I got home I inflated my tires to 35PSI as the dealer should have done! I noticed that there are no weights on the inside of the rims.... they didn't ballance the tires after re-mounting them!!!! MORONS!
They didn't even bother to remove the silicone? adhesive where the old weights were. I'm starting to get a little PO'D at this point. Then I notice large scrapes/gouges on both front rims, and pry marks from when they dis-mounted the tires>> OMG I'm ready to kill someone now! Good thing the dealer was closed when I noticed this.. at least I will have some time to cool off before going over there. Did they think I wouldn't notice?

How would you approach them about this. I feel that I should get NEW rims and tires at this point. I want to be reasonable about it but I would not have to deal with this if they had done the job right the first time. They will probably try to have the rims repaired, and make me drive aroung on these crappy tires to save $$.

I will withhold the name of the dealer (for now), but I will make them famous (or infamous) if this is not taken care of..

End of rant.. I need a Valium!

That is awful .
I would insist on new rims; first from your dealer, then if that doesn't work, from Nissan customer assistance, and finally, if necessary, small claims court.
Photograph the damage, in case you need to prove it.
Good luck.

The Dealer should replace/repair your rims and go after the local tire shop for the damage they caused to your rims. It should be an issue between you and the Dealer. Not you and the local tire shop.
