Default Gates Belts Squeak

Anyone else have problems with a bad squeak after installing the UR pullies?
I tightened them after a good 1000 miles, but there still is an awful squeak.
Thanks

I did with the gates but I think it was due to the cold Colorado weather.

i had to tighten the belt only once after driving a couple of weeks with the UR pulley installed and that was 15 months ago.... no more squeak since then.

go to an autoparts store and pick up a can of belt conditioner. got rid of my belt noise. tried tightening, untightening, nothing got rid of the noise until i used the belt conditioner. they recommend you use it everyone 3000 miles too.

if all else fails you can buy some gatorback belts... they are higher quality, dont crack like other belts and are supposed to be quieter, of course you could still get slip if they arent on right or tightly enough.
