Default Need an answer from nissan tech.

I have deleted my rear window defroster but am still using the switch for something else because it's fused and relayed. Problem: after 10/15 minutes it goes off, is it on a timer or what. Thanks in advance.

Yes, there is a timing circuit it is on to prevent the grid from burning out. Where it is, I don't know.

There is a relay in what looks like the rear passenger side of the car. Do you have a copy of the factory service manual? If so, I can direct you to a page that will get you close.

BTW I'm running a rear Euro driving light with it so surely if I bypass the timer it should'nt hurt anything, it's only one 27watt bulb.
